Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Management Practitioner to join our team in Ontario (Guelph, Cambridge, Waterloo) with a possible fully remote option.

You will lead environmental compliance and due diligence strategies while collaborating with a cross-border team to drive client growth in the industrial sector. The role requires extensive experience in environmental matters, strong project management, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering or related field (required).
• Advanced degree preferred. Experience in environmental compliance and due diligence is essential.
• Experience leading environmental transaction due diligence and compliance services is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental transaction due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and development.
• Direct environmental compliance services and multi-media audits for diverse clients.
• Develop compliance documents and risk management strategies under relevant regulations.
• Provide litigation support and review new regulations impacting clients.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, and proposals; manage client delivery.
• Mentor staff, manage projects, and support business development.
• Provide training and technical guidance on environmental management systems.
