Job summary

Spectrum Resource Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Professional to lead environmental planning, permitting, compliance, and construction monitoring for projects across Ontario and eastern Canada.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and ensure deliverables meet regulatory and client requirements while advancing business development efforts. Hybrid role with field work and travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science or related field required.
8–10+ years in environmental consulting, management, or regulatory work preferred.
Strong knowledge of Ontario environmental legislation and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental planning, permitting, compliance, and construction-phase monitoring for infrastructure and development projects.
Oversee wetland, stream, and aquatic habitat assessments and related reporting.
Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and client expectations across projects.
Prepare/environmental reports, permit applications, and monitoring documentation.
Develop and oversee Environmental Management Plans and ESC programs.
Coordinate with regulators, Indigenous communities, contractors, and project stakeholders; mentor staff.
