Job summary

SLR Consulting Americas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Intermediate) to lead contaminated sites projects across Ontario in the Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining, Industrial and Built Environment sectors. You will design, implement, and deliver a wide range of projects for a diverse client base while mentoring staff and providing technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong technical background in environmental site assessment and remediation.
• Knowledge of provincial (O.Reg. 153 and O.Reg. 406) and federal (CCME) environmental regulations.
• Experience PFAS sampling or PFAS project management is an asset.
• Professional status or eligibility for P.Eng./P.Geo. preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle for travel to job sites/clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage contaminated sites projects from investigations to remediation, ensuring health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate field staff and subcontractors.
• Engage senior team members to develop work plans and execute projects.
• Prepare technical reports for clients and regulators.
• Support proposals and business development opportunities to grow SLR’s client base.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to staff on field programs and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate findings with other disciplines.
• Tackle difficult project challenges with curiosity and positivity.

Education

Undergraduate or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or geosciences
