Job summary

The Senior Project Coordinator - Architectural Envelope will support planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of envelope activities across the project lifecycle, working with the Construction Lead, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure safe, timely delivery.

You will coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, testing plans, site inspections, and documentation while monitoring scope, schedule, and budget and promoting quality and compliance across

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project coordination experience involving building envelope, façade, glazing, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, or related systems.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transit, transportation, commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, construction methods, quality standards, and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management/document control systems, with strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily architectural envelope activities across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout phases.
• Support the Construction Lead in monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables associated with the envelope scope.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, mock-ups, inspection plans, and testing requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure timely resolution of technical and construction issues.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and progress of building envelope installations, while supporting testing, commissioning, and deficiency resolution.
• Manage project records and document control processes, and support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout requirements.
