What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the Product Development Director in leading strategic initiatives to reduce cost and schedule for new development programs.
• Responsible for developing strategies and roadmaps of activities to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
• Foster a data analytics approach, AI, and digitalization to develop best solutions, tools, and process improvements to position Bombardier as a leading company in new product development.
• Responsible for planning, integration, and execution of cross-functional teams' scope of work.
• Propose the implementation of technical innovations based on industry trends through advanced design and strategic technology.
• Recommend new cost-effective engineering solutions through knowledge domains and programs.
• Participate in decision-making and rulemaking in areas of specialization.
• Collect and dispositions lessons learned with knowledge domains for community cross-programs.
• Coordinate product upgrades and technology insertion with sustaining product program management.
• Understand well the new product development process and adherence (TRL, Maturity & Exit Gate Criteria, BES, and program management standards).
• Influence the product planning strategy definition and vision by maintaining a competitive landscape of technologies and performance of non-Bombardier models.
• Perform RoM business cases and statements of work for technical studies. Lead aircraft studies involving multidisciplinary inputs, including funding source identification.

How to thrive in this role?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering. A PhD related directly to a field of expertise is preferred.
• Over 15 years of relevant experience in a specific aerospace engineering field.
• Experience on at least 2 or more development programs.
• Expertise in one or more areas.
• Highly recommended to have an international reputation.
• Advanced knowledge in program management for product development and broad knowledge of many aircraft systems and operating regulations.
