We are looking for a highly motivated and technically capable Technical Solutions Engineer who will play a critical role throughout the client lifecycle; from pre-sales, through implementation and ongoing support. This individual acts as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors by gathering requirements, scoping technical solutions, and managing key project deliverables. The ideal candidate brings a blend of business analysis, technical acumen, and strong communication skills, enabling them to translate client needs into scalable, efficient, and integrated solutions. Familiarity with healthcare systems, data migration, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7/FHIR) is preferred.

How You’ll Make This Happen:

Investigate, Design & Deliver Scalable Technical Solutions

  • Conduct high-level solution scoping with prospective clients and internal teams.
  • Identify integration points, data migration needs, and potential risks early.
  • Translate client and clinical workflows into scalable, actionable technical designs.

Own the Customer Lifecycle from Discovery to Deployment

  • Support pre-sales discovery with requirements gathering and platform assessment.
  • Develop and document implementation timelines, data workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Lead communication with customer and vendor technical teams during integrations and migrations.

Drive Clarity Across Stakeholders

  • Communicate complex technical concepts in plain language for non-technical audiences.
  • Coordinate deliverables across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.
  • Ensure full documentation of client needs, technical tasks, and project dependencies.
  • Lead project timelines via project management frameworks with precision, for successful solution implementation and post go-live support.

Champion Data Integrity & Healthcare Standards

  • Review legacy system exports to define schemas, data dictionaries, and create transformation strategies when vendor support is limited or unavailable.
  • Support authentication integrations (e.g., LDAP, OAuth, SSO).
  • Align internal systems with healthcare data models and interoperability standards.
  • Work with client and vendor technical teams to plan and execute integrations (FHIR, HL7v2, APIs) and data migrations, ensuring complete documentation and successful implementation.

What You Bring

️ 6+ years in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or IT consulting role—preferably in healthcare, genomics, or digital health.

️ Experience with APIs, data structures, integration planning, and software implementation.

️ Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

️ Strong project management skills with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

️ Excellent communication—you translate tech speak into client-ready insights.

️ Comfortable facilitating discovery sessions, creating workflow diagrams, and documenting user stories.

️ Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries.

️ Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle

️ Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs

️ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.

️ Efficient communication skills and strong organizational and leadership skills.

Bonus Points

Bachelors or Masters degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.

Previous project management experience is advantageous (PMP or LSS certificate is a bonus).

Experience in healthcare or genetics

Understanding of Authentication methodologies; LDAP/OAuth/SSO

Able to support writing scripts or configuring workflows to normalize and prepare data for ingestion during migration processes.

Experience with HL7/FHIR data structures and modelling

Understanding of CI/CD methodologies
