Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to lead Dining and Banquet Services, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and financial accountability. You will guide F&B managers and staff, collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, and drive innovative service offerings aligned with Banff Centre standards.

The role demands strong leadership, budgeting skills, and regulatory knowledge, with a focus on safety, compliance, and guest

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ management experience in a multi-outlet F&B operation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial management including budgeting, forecasting, payroll and cost controls.
• Wine/beverage program knowledge and AGLC regulations.
• ProServe, First Aid/CPR, Sommelier 1 certification (training may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to F&B managers and staff daily.
• Assess requirements, plan staffing and allocate resources to meet demand.
• Communicate with organizers and clients to meet GRF and contractual standards.
• Develop innovative Dining and Banquet offerings with value for clients.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning across the department.
