Job summary

GEI Consultants is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer to provide frontline IT support for local and remote users in Abbotsford. You’ll deploy and troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps, and network connectivity, while ensuring high availability and productive staff.

You will work with a small IT team, manage tickets, onboard new hires, and document solutions in the knowledge base. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth with our employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• 1–3 years in desktop or helpdesk support.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Manage tickets, assign to staff, and escalate when needed.
• Configure and deploy Windows devices and peripherals.
• Assist with user onboarding and account setup for new hires.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and basic AD tasks.
• Document solutions and maintain knowledge base.
• Collaborate with senior technicians on advanced issues.
