Long View in Vancouver, BC is seeking an experienced Deskside Consultant to support client sites and empower users with excellent service.

The role covers deploying laptops, provisioning Windows 11 via Intune Autopilot, and providing Tier 1 end-user support, with opportunities to mentor teammates and grow.

Applicants should have 5+ years IT support, strong Microsoft experience, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Post-secondary education in a related field and relevant certifications.
• CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certifications preferred.
• Experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS and remote support.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support laptops and peripherals for new and existing users, following team standards
• Provision Windows 11 devices using Intune Autopilot (no traditional imaging); provide Tier 1 end-user support
• Deliver clear, professional communication with customers, stakeholders, and service providers
• Troubleshoot and resolve deskside issues, escalating and tracking incidents as needed
• Mentor and support less experienced team members, both on-site and remote
• Ensure compliance with client IT security, technology standards, and service practices
• Follow and model Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and safe work practices
• Support office technology such as printers, AV, video conferencing, and meeting room equipment (nice to have)
• Participate in regional IT team collaboration to ensure consistent service delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement in end-user support, service quality, and customer satisfaction
