Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :** • Collect, analyze and document business and data needs related to the suspicious transaction reporting process; • Understand current processes, manual activities, operational irritants, and automation opportunities; • Translate the needs of operations and compliance teams into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; • Identify the data required for alert analysis, file processing, and regulatory filings; • Perform mapping of business concepts, source data and target data structures; • Define rules for business, transformation, enrichment, standardization and validation of data; • Assess the availability, accessibility, quality and relevance of data sources as needed; • Collaborate in the integration of new data related to transactions, accounts, customers, counterparties, sessions and records; • Establish controls to ensure completeness, consistency, validity and traceability of data; • Participate in the design of data models and validate their alignment with operational and regulatory needs; • Maintain an end-to-end view of data flows, from source systems to analysis and reporting solutions; • Perform impact analyses associated with changes in data, business rules, processes or systems; • Contribute to product backlog prioritization, user story refinement and delivery planning; • Prepare and facilitate analysis, mapping and validation workshops with stakeholders; • Collaborate with business specialists, product owners, developers, data engineering consultants, designers, architecture consultants, and source systems teams; • Support functional validation activities, acceptance testing and anomaly resolution; • Produce and maintain clear, complete, and usable functional documentation; • Act as a functional reference for data and promote knowledge transfer within the team. **The profile you are looking for is as follows:** • Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in functional analysis, business analysis or data analysis; • Have significant experience in the banking or financial services sector; • Demonstrate excellent communication, workshop facilitation and consulting skills; • Develop the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders from multiple sectors; • Demonstrate a high level of autonomy, initiative and leadership in a context of transformation; • Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and synthesis skills; • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, query optimization, and data analysis; • Run complex SQL queries and analyze large volumes of data; • Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS cloud data architectures, ETL and ELT concepts; • Use Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization and analysis tools; • Master Git, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Jira, and Confluence; • Understand Data Vault approaches, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles; • Be familiar with the concepts of data quality, metadata management, and traceability; • Evolve in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe; • Understand modern data architectures, APIs, and data exchanges between systems; • Interpret conceptual, logical and physical data models; • Knowledge of the financial crime field, including anti-money laundering, regulatory requirements, sanctions or screening (an asset); • Experience in automating regulatory or operational processes (an asset); • Have completed data transformation or analytics platform modernization initiatives (an asset); • Hold a certification in business analytics, data governance, or agility, such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, or SAFe (an asset); • This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
