COFOMO, a leading Canadian IT consulting firm, seeks an experienced Production Systems Support professional to join our operations. You will manage incidents, monitor production environments, and collaborate with Dev and business teams across Canada.

Fluency in French and English is essential for daily tasks and stakeholder communication. The role requires five years in IT operations, familiarity with monitoring tools, and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you will be given:** • Monitor production activities to ensure system availability and stability, and then quickly apply corrective actions as required; • Provide complete lifecycle management of Level 1 and 2 incidents, collaborating with relevant teams and escalating complex issues when necessary; • Participate in a 24/7 global support model, coordinating knowledge transfer and support activities across regions; • Record interventions and efforts in appropriate tracking tools, then contribute to root cause analysis and prevention of recurring incidents; • Provide after-hours support and participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuity of services; • Take responsibility for changes made in production environments; • Collaborate with development teams to plan and prioritize releases; • Ensure compliance with information technology policies and governance frameworks in the context of change management; • Participate in evening and weekend deployments, upgrades, and production activities; • Contribute to the project preparation phases to ensure the availability of resources, documentation and knowledge necessary for releases; • Perform performance analysis and report on system status, incident trends, and operational priorities; • Support special initiatives requiring coordination or project management; • Facilitate and participate in meetings with technical and business stakeholders. **The profile you are looking for is as follows:** • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in production systems support or information technology operations; • Experience in the banking or financial services industry; • Be familiar with Actimize, Kibana, Grafana, or Jenkins solutions (an asset); • Proficient in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases; • Have an excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, including automation scripts, as well as Windows Server environments; • Develop scripts using PowerShell, VBS, or Python; • Use enterprise scheduling tools such as Autosys; • Leverage system monitoring tools, including Dynatrace; • Administer web application servers such as Apache Tomcat and IIS; • Understand DevOps concepts as well as the use of Grafana, Kibana, and Jenkins; • Master file transfer protocols and collaborative platforms such as SharePoint; • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with international stakeholders; • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure; • Act with autonomy, initiative and adaptability in a changing environment; • Maintain a professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills within multidisciplinary teams; • Knowledge of global financial products (an asset); • Possess project management skills (an asset); • Knowledge of artificial intelligence applications in information technology operations (an asset). • This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
