Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Project Manager (Building Group) in Prince George, BC to lead construction from pre-construction through completion. The role focuses on coordinating design, budget, and schedule while maintaining strong client relations.

You will oversee billings, cash flow, and project reporting, mentoring a large team and guiding project progress with Owners, Architects, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Construction degree/diploma and 12+ years of PM experience.
• Working knowledge of construction scopes, scheduling, and contract software.
• Ability to mentor a large team and maintain client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion with design, coordination, budget and schedule.
• Prepare regular, timely billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
• Meet with Owners and Architects to communicate concerns and company interests.
• Monitor, forecast and report project costs to ensure positive cash flow.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to guide progress.
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and escalate risks as needed.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly project health and safety statistics.
