Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Surrey, BC, is hiring for a construction project professional with 3–5 years of experience. You will prepare and analyze financial data to ensure positive cash flow, provide technical engineering information to field teams, and support plan and specification reviews to keep drawings aligned with construction.

The role requires a construction degree or diploma, familiarity with scheduling, project management, and contract software, and experience in ICI construction.

Qualifications

• Construction degree/diploma required with 3–5 years of construction experience
• Experience in ICI construction is required
• Ability to support the project team and solve construction issues in time-sensitive situations
• Working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial data ensuring positive cash flow for project
• Provide technical engineering information to employees and subcontractors to ensure project complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions
• Assist in plan and specification analysis to provide clear, trackable interpretations of the design/drawings for construction
• Assist in evaluation and solution of potential field problems and report them to the Project Manager
• Understand and perform document control functions, including tracking and creating RFIs, transmitting and tracking submittals, compose agreements and maintain project expediting list
• Spend time in the field assisting with QA checks and/or validations
