EllisDon in Toronto, Ontario seeks a Construction Manager to lead a major project, oversee design, construction and handover, and coordinate planning, scheduling and safety compliance. The role requires a track record of 15+ years in supervisory roles and a related engineering or construction degree. Large-scale facilities experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years supervisory or equivalent experience.
• Engineering or Construction degree/diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction (technique, equipment, methods) and company standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Experience in Data Centers, Pharmaceutical Plants, Laboratories, Industrial Facilities, EV Battery Plants is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall project performance of one major project (> $1B in value).
• Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover to meet design, budget and schedule objectives.
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
• Develop and maintain pre-construction, baseline construction, procurement, commissioning and PDI schedules.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
• Ensure project safety standards, company and client policies and environmental programs are followed.
