Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Prince George, BC seeks a Project Coordinator (Building Group) to maintain shop drawings, track RFIs, and coordinate meetings with subcontractors and consultants. You will support owners, architects, contractors and engineers to resolve complex issues and keep project momentum.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of construction experience or recent education in project management, and a working knowledge of scheduling software.

Qualifications

1-2 years of construction experience or recent education in construction project management.
You have a working knowledge of scheduling and project management software.
You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project.
Experience working on hospital or ICI projects is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings, track RFIs and changes.
Review Subcontractor RFIs and confirm accuracy prior to issuance to Consultants and coordinate meetings to resolve complex issues.
Work alongside and regularly communicate with owners, architects, contractors and engineers.
May have been delegated the responsibility to directly manage one or multiple Subcontractors or a portion of a project.
Review, interpret and update construction schedules.
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in project administration and field work.
Conduct quality control activities and update construction progress records.
