Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Operations Analyst to protect cloud-native infrastructure and digital assets. You will identify misconfigurations, monitor threats, and investigate incidents while supporting audits and stakeholder training.

The role requires hands-on cloud security experience, scripting skills, and familiarity with SIEM/EDR. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to improve security posture and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science.
• 5–10 years of experience in cloud security operations or equivalent.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, Security+, GIAC or equivalent.
• Cloud or vendor-specific security certifications preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native security tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, network security tools, SOAR, and cloud posture management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve dangerous cloud misconfigurations and overly permissive access policies.
• Protect cloud-native infrastructure by monitoring signals and investigating threats.
• Review security controls including IAM, network security, logging, encryption, and workload protection.
• Tune detection rules and review alerts across cloud platforms.
• Investigate incidents, contain compromises, and document post-incident analysis.
• Support cloud compliance, audit, and reporting activities.
• Mentor stakeholders to uplift cloud security posture.

The Senior Analyst will:Identify and drive resolution of dangerous cloud misconfigurations, overly permissive access policies, and identity-based vulnerabilitiesProtect our organization's cloud-native infrastructure and digital assets by monitoring real-time signals and investigating threatsReview and validate cloud security controls, including identity and access management, network security, logging, encryption, and workload protection.Review security alerts, track log data, and tune detection rules using cloud-native platformsInvestigate suspicious activities, isolate compromised cloud resources, and mitigate active incursions or data exposuresSupport cloud incident response activities, including containment, evidence collection, root cause analysis, and post-incident documentation.Proactively search cloud environments for hidden indicators of compromise and unusual activitiesConfigure and Support Cloud Security Services and hardening configurationSupport compliance, audit, and reporting activities related to cloud security operations.Mentor and enable stakeholders on cloud security to uplift posture and address technical debt.Required skills & Experience:Experience in cloud cybersecurity operations, cloud incident response, cloud security.Hands-on knowledge of cloud platformsExperience with cloud-native security toolsAbility to investigate security events, document findings, and communicate recommendations clearlyProficiency in data analysis query using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Yara-L, SQL, KQL, SPL or othersExperience with SIEM, Endpoint Detection & Response tools, Network Security tools, Security Orchestration, Cloud Posture Management ToolsKnowledge of information security risks, framework and industry best practicesAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Differentiators:Hands-on experience with security orchestration and automationHands on security experience with implementation and support of CI/CD pipelines, Secret Management solution, WAF, Cloud Firewall rules management, Kubernetes, Container, API gateway, Infrastructure and Compliance as a Code , cloud policies , GitOpsKnowledge of development languages: At least 1 or 2 of the following: Java, Node.JS.
