Qualifications

• Holds a college diploma and a claims adjuster licence; a relevant university degree is an asset.
• 15 years in claims roles, including at least 10 years as a claims adjuster.
• Deep knowledge of insurance forms, claims practices, and related issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update claims policies and procedures while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a technical resource for adjuster teams and advisers across claims areas.
• Represent the claims sector before government bodies and industry committees.
• Oversee audit recommendations and drive necessary actions with teams.
• Advise management on the sector's direction and support form/process improvements.
• Handle certain litigation matters and support catastrophe response with documentation.
