Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking a liability claims professional to join the ABI team. You will handle auto BI and CGL claims, interacting with clients, brokers, and vendors to provide exceptional customer service and manage costs.

The role requires 5+ years of claims experience, including 2+ years in Commercial Claims, with CIP designation preferred. A hybrid work model and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims experience, including 2+ years in Commercial Claims.
• Strong knowledge of Casualty/Personal Lines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Atlantic adjuster licensing or ability to obtain is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support ABI value proposition with exceptional communication on claim matters.
• Investigate, evaluate and settle Auto BI and Commercial General Liability claims.
• Interact with clients, brokers, and vendors to manage claims and costs.
• Develop strategies with defense counsel on litigation files for timely resolution.
• Ensure reserves are set accurately and expenses are controlled.
