Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience with distributed systems using AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Deep Kubernetes resource management and security-focused patterns.
• Ability to define a technical plan for delivering large features with elegant design.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team and lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics during ideation and decision-making.
• Identify and solve project, process, or technology issues and advocate for improvements.
• Support operations and on-call efforts to maintain availability of team artifacts.
• Set and promote code review and design standards across the team.
• Mentor teammates by giving feedback and leading by example.
