Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services seeks an Analyst, Risk Management, to support our growing team. This group ensures compliance with professional, regulatory, and KPMG policies, focusing on personal independence standards established by bodies such as the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consulting with experts and reviewing risk management manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits related to personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Monitor inquiries via the KICS help desk and respond to questions regarding investments and independence policies.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Business needs may require working beyond normal hours, and we support flexible work arrangements.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret standards.
• Excellent communication skills, professional and prompt responses.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Handling sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Business-level fluency in English.

The salary range for BC Region is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially with bonuses, based on skills and location. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
