Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. This group ensures the firm and its personnel comply with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards related to personal independence, including regulations from the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consultation and reading manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits related to personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Monitor the KICS help desk and respond to inquiries regarding investments and independence policies.
• Assist partners and staff with compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Business-level English proficiency.

Additional Information

The salary range for BC Region is $54,000 to $81,000, with potential bonuses. Compensation depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive rewards program.
