Senior Analyst, Compliance and Risk Management

Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. This group helps ensure the firm and its personnel comply with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards related to personal independence, including those by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consulting with experts and reviewing internal manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits for personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Monitor the KICS help desk and respond to inquiries regarding investments and policies.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance preferred.
• Research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret standards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Handling sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Business-level English fluency is required.

Additional Information

The salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, with potential bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
