Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services seeks an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. This group ensures the firm and its personnel comply with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards related to personal independence, including regulations from the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consultation and review of risk management manuals.
• Conduct independence compliance audits and monitor adherence to standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches to the Compliance Manager.
• Respond to inquiries via the KICS help desk, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Assist with compliance tasks, ad-hoc projects, and operational documentation development.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance.
• Strong research and analytical skills to interpret standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Business-level proficiency in English.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially including bonuses, depending on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
