Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is looking for an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. The group helps ensure the firm and its personnel are in compliance with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. This role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards and policies related to personal independence, including those established by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code of Professional Conduct, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies through consulting with subject matter experts and reviewing internal manuals.
• Conduct compliance audits for personal independence standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Monitor the KICS help desk, research inquiries related to investments and policies, and respond promptly.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Employees may be required to work beyond normal hours based on business needs and are supported with flexible work arrangements.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance preferred.
• Research and analytical skills to interpret standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with a team.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.
• Handling sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, with potential bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
