Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking experienced security guards to protect multiple sites across the Ottawa region. You will enforce regulations, monitor CCTV, operate control room equipment, and manage access while reporting hazards and incidents with a professional, safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License is required.
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED required.
• 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Diploma/Degree in security or law enforcement preferred (e.g., Justice Studies, Police Foundations).
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce provincial and municipal regulations, policies and procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems and operate security control room equipment.
• Control access to sites and report hazards or security breaches.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.

Job description

Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across the Ottawa region.

At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• 1 year of security experience, preferred
• Diploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred i.e Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc
• Excellent communication & report writing skills
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
• Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
• Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment
• A valid drivers license & having a personal vehicle is an asset

Pay rate: $21.15 to $24.50
