Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is hiring Gatehouse Guards for a Distribution Centre in Belleville, Ontario. The role focuses on access control, safety, and reporting in a fast-paced security environment.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour. This part-time and casual position offers 12-hour shifts, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a respected Canadian security company, plus extended health and dental benefits for eligible employees and an award-winning culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience, preferably in Distribution Center/Gatehouse
• Own reliable personal vehicle to commute
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to enforce access control and basic safety practices
• Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports
• Knowledge of CCTV and life-safety systems
• Physically able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience, preferably in Distribution Center/Gatehouse setting
• Has their own reliable personal vehicle to commute
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to enforce access control and basic safety practices
• Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports
• Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room system
• Physically able to perform various duties. Including, but not limited to, standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods of time

Pay Rate: $18.50

Part Time & Casual - 12hr shifts
