Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Alliston, Ontario has a full-time Security Guard opening. You’ll handle access control, visitor sign-in, CCTV monitoring, patrols and daily reports, with transportation to the site required.

A valid Security Guard license and First Aid/CPR are essential, along with strong communication and customer service skills. Shifts are days or nights, with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
• Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Previous security experience would be an asset
• Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and sign them into the facility
• Responsible for access control in/out of the building
• Answer the phone
• Must be able to write daily reports and logs
• Good customer service skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• CCTV monitoring and investigations
• Perform patrol duties and report incidences
• Any additional responsibilities as set out by site SOPs

You must have your own transportation to get to the site.

Position Details

• FT - Days or Nights
• Pay: $18.50/hour, increasing to $19.06/hour after successfully completing the 3-month probationary period, and to $19.63/hour after 12 months.
• Location: 4700 Industrial Parkway, Alliston ON L0G 1W0
  

Experience And Qualifications
