Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking Part-time Security Guards in Campbell River, BC to protect people and property while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves patrolling multiple sites, writing detailed incident and daily activity reports, and responding to emergencies as needed.

A valid BC Security Licence, Class 5 BC Driver’s License, OFA I, and strong English communication are required. This is a part-time, on-site position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with security or customer service is an asset.

We’re currently accepting applications for Part‑time Security Guards to join our Campbell River portfolio! This is a great opportunity to work at a variety of sites and be part of a supportive, professional team. If you’re people‑smart, customer‑focused, and enjoy staying active, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Some sites are large, so you’ll definitely get your steps in! The role can be physically active and requires availability to work mornings, days, nights, and/or weekends.

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients, tenants, and the public
• Write clear, detailed reports (incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports)
• Watch for and report irregularities such as security breaches, safety hazards, and emergencies — and contact emergency responders when needed
• Provide first aid and medical response when required
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of people, property, and equipment
• Use phone and computer applications to communicate site activity

What You Need:

• Valid BC Security Licence
• Class 5 or Class 7N BC Driver’s Licence (required for Mobile Patrol)
• 6 months of security experience and/or 6 months of customer service experience is an asset
• OFA Level 1 or higher is an asset
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Good physical fitness - ability to walk for extended periods (most sites)
