Job summary

Paladin Security invites Healthcare Security Guards to join our growing team. Your main role is escorting medical teams and patients and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment in healthcare facilities.

You will patrol facilities, file detailed incident reports, and support staff during emergencies while upholding Paladin’s professional standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid BC Security Licence and First Aid/CPR/AED certification are required.
• Completion of certifications and training prior to site deployment is expected.
• Physically able to perform duties including standing, walking and responding to incidents.
• Strong communication, observation and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Escort medical teams and patients to and from the hospital within the region.
• Provide a professional and visible security presence in healthcare facilities.
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances and emergencies.
• Assist in de-escalation and non-violent crisis intervention.
• Support staff during emergency codes and complete detailed reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Paladin Security’s values.
• Perform other duties as required to maintain a safe environment.

Security Guard Mobile - Healthcare(Security)

We are currently hiring Healthcare Security Guards to join our growing team. In this position, your primary responsibility is safely escorting medical teams and patients to and from the hospital, travelling throughdifferent partsof the region to do so. When not completing these duties, you willassistpatrolling healthcare facilities in the area to make sure they have safe and accessibleenvironments.This involves promptly filling out detailed incident reports whenever an issuearises,so youcandiscover solutions on how to keep staff, patients, and guests feeling comfortable in the secure environment you provide

Schedule : 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; second shift 7:00 pm to 3:00 am

Key Responsibilities

• Escort medical teams and patients to and from the hospital, travelling throughdifferent partsof the region
• Provide a professional and visible security presence throughout the healthcare facility.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Assist in the management of aggressive behaviour using de-escalation and non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
• Support healthcare staff during emergency codes
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and act as an ambassador of Paladin Security’s values and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as required in the role

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• Basic First Aid Training is preferred
• BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Previous experience in a healthcare security setting preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of hospital emergency codes and procedures is an asset.
• Physically able to perform duties including standing, walking, and responding to incidents.
• Completion of certifications and training prior to site deployment
