Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Security Guard for Toyotetsu Canada Inc. on a part-time weekend schedule. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to safeguard people and property at the facility.

The role requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and valid security licenses; you will complete reports, coordinate with the client, and maintain professionalism under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid & CPR - Level C certification required.
• Ontario Security License required.
• Excellent communication and customer-service focus.
• Reliable transportation to job site.
• Able to wear PPE.

• Provide proactive security patrols and respond to incidents.

Security Guard - Part Time - Toyotetsu Canada Inc.

Hours:

Saturday & Sunday (0700 - 1900)

or/

Saturday & Sunday (1900 - 0700)

Pay Rate: $19.06/hr.

Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Posting Date: September 28, 2026

Internal Closing Date: October 2nd, 2026

Essential Job Functions:

• Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
• You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
• Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
• Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
• Write clear, concise, and legible reports.
• Communicates any concerns/issues with Operations Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.
• Ability to sit/stand and walk throughout the building
• Ability to walk/climb stairs, push min. 25lbs
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, Municipal laws and By-laws
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy.
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Abel to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Customer Service or Security Experience is considered an asset
