Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Mobile Security Guard for the Greater Toronto Area. This part-time position involves mobile patrols of client properties, responding to alarms and incidents, and maintaining logs and reports to support client safety.

You must hold an Ontario Security License, First Aid & CPR Level C, a valid G class license with three years driving experience, and undertake mandatory training. Paladin offers training, uniforms, license reimbursement, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Valid G Licence and driving experience (minimum 3 years).
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from WSIB provider.
• Post secondary education in Law Enforcement/Security.
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of assigned client properties and locations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, security incidents, and client requests.
• Monitor properties for unauthorized access, safety hazards, and property damage.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure post orders are followed.
• Provide leadership and support to security guards when required.
• Ensure compliance with Paladin Security policies and training.
• Communicate concerns to Supervisor, Field Manager, or CSM.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain patrol vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and public, delivering good service.

Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Description:

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of assigned client properties and locations.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, security incidents, and client requests.
• Monitor properties for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and property damage.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all security procedures and post orders are followed.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to Security Guards when required.
• Ensure Security Guards comply with Paladin Security policies, procedures, and mandatory training requirements.
• Communicate security concerns, incidents, staffing issues, and client concerns to the Supervisor, Field Manager, or CSM.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure the patrol vehicle and security equipment are safe, clean, and properly maintained.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, employees, emergency services, and members of the public while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
• Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health
• Must provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.
• All successful applicants must undergo a vulnerable sector check
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
