Paladin Security is seeking professional Industrial Security Guards for a camp job near Fort St. James, BC. This part-time position includes 14-day rotation cycles and responsibilities such as controlling access points, badge verification, and conducting site patrols to prevent hazards and breaches.

• Minimum 12 months experience as a guard.
• Valid BC Security Licence and ability to obtain within 3 months (company paid).
• Physically capable of standing, walking and working outdoors.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
• Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
• Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
• Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.
• Escorting contractors, workers, and visitors safely within the facility, following all security protocols.
• Responding immediately to access-related issues, incidents, or emergencies, maintaining composure and authority.
