You will manage access, conduct patrols, escort personnel, and respond to incidents in a high-compliance industrial environment. The position requires a BC Security License, valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict control at facility access points and verify credentials.
• Conduct regular site patrols to inspect for hazards or unauthorized activity.
• Operate site entry gates to keep traffic moving while maintaining security standards.
• Safely escort visitors, workers, and contractors following safety protocols.
• Respond quickly and professionally to access issues, safety incidents, and emergencies.
• Keep accurate logs of patrols, access activity, and incidents.
• Observe and enforce site safety procedures during operations and patrols.

Schedule: Rotating schedule (2 weeks morning shifts, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks night shifts)

Site Overview

Located in Elkford, BC, this industrial site operates within a high-compliance, safety-focused environment. Guards play a vital role in supporting daily facility operations by managing access, monitoring property boundaries, and maintaining a safe and secure setting for all staff, contractors, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

Maintain strict control at all facility access points, carefully verifying credentials to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter.

Conduct regular site patrols to inspect for hazards, security breaches, or unauthorized activity.

Operate site entry gates efficiently to keep traffic moving smoothly while upholding security standards.

Safely escort visitors, workers, and contractors through the facility in accordance with established safety protocols.

Respond quickly and professionally to access issues, safety incidents, and site emergencies.

Keep accurate, detailed logs of patrols, site access activity, and security incidents.

Observe and enforce site safety procedures during daily operations and patrols.

Must Haves

Valid BC Security License

Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to reach the site

Legal authorization to work in Canada
