Paladin Security in Elkford (Alberta) is seeking professional and reliable Industrial Security Guards to support safety and security operations at our industrial site. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in high-compliance environments.

Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling the site, documenting incidents, escorting visitors, and promptly responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License.
• Advanced First Aid Training preferred or willing to obtain.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to access the site.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
• Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
• Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
• Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.
• Escorting contractors, workers, and visitors safely within the facility, following all security protocols.
• Responding immediately to access-related issues, incidents, or emergencies, maintaining composure and authority.
• Maintaining detailed records of access activity, patrols, and any security incidents.
• Observing and enforcing safety procedures, addressing potential hazards during patrols and daily operations.

Schedule

Switching schedules, meaning, 2weeks morning, 2 weeks break, then 2 weeks night and then rotates again
