Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited in Calgary is seeking a full-time security professional to join our team as a control room operator and/or security guard. You will monitor CCTV, manage access control, and respond to security incidents in a fast-paced environment, maintaining logs and coordinating with on-site personnel.

The position requires a valid provincial security guard license, a valid driver's license, strong computer skills, and the ability to work daytime, evening, and overnight shifts with

Qualifications

• Valid provincial Security Guard License.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple security platforms.
• Prior control room/Call Centre or CCTV experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and situational awareness
• Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts as needed.
• Must be available in the daytime, evening and overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and identify irregular or suspicious activities.
• Enforce all control room protocols without exception.
• Manage access control for staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Respond to alarms and security alerts in real time.
• Communicate with on-site security personnel and law enforcement to coordinate responses.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Escalate issues to supervisors or management as required.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and security procedures.
