Paladin Security seeks a dedicated Security Dispatcher for Brampton Civic Hospital in Brampton, ON. This full-time, on-site role coordinates security responses and oversees incident management to ensure staff, patients, and visitors remain safe.

You will deploy personnel, monitor CCTV and life-safety systems, and document all incidents. A minimum of 2 years of security experience and applicable certifications are required; immunization and background checks are part of onboarding.

• Fluent English with strong interpersonal skills.
• Post-secondary education in a Law Enforcement or Security program from a recognized college.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved vendor.
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB, or willingness to complete Paladin’s free certification prior to onboarding.
• Must have a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine with immunization records.

Site Overview

Brampton Civic Hospital is a high-volume healthcare facility providing critical emergency, specialized, and preventative care to the Brampton community. Operating 24/7, the site requires dedicated, proactive security management to maintain a safe and supportive environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Security Dispatcher, you will serve as the central hub for security operations across Brampton Civic Hospital, coordinating responses and managing emergency management systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Tracking and deploying security personnel across the hospital using two-way radio communication and Perspective software.

Monitoring fire and life safety systems, parking management systems, access controls, and CCTV security cameras.

Taking incoming incident calls, documenting details accurately, and assigning incident reports to on-duty security team members.

Monitoring access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas of the hospital.

Investigating routine incidents and immediately reporting suspicious activity to appropriate authorities.

Must Haves

Minimum 2 years of security or related experience.

Post-secondary education in a Law Enforcement or Security program from a recognized college.

Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and the Mental Health Act.

Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor.

Fluent in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills.

Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), or willingness to complete Paladin’s free certification program prior to onboarding.

Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, along with immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and a 2-step TB skin test.

Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Nice-to-Haves

Prior security dispatching experience.

3 or more years of security experience.
