Job summary

Civeo Services Employees LP in Alberta is hiring a Second Cook/Baker to support the First Cook at our lodge kitchens near Fort McMurray. The successful candidate will assist with meals preparation, breakfast items, kitchen maintenance, and inventory control, reporting to the supervisor.

The 20 days on, 10 days off rotation may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates should have 1-3 years of high-volume kitchen experience, valid Food Safety certification, and good English

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of culinary experience in high-volume kitchens.
• Valid Food Safety certification.
• CSTS and CSO safety certifications are assets.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the First Cook and assist with meal prep.
• Prepare breakfast items and maintain kitchen standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure food safety and service standards daily.
• Follow safety policies and FIFO inventory procedures.
• Rotate responsibilities as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
