Tolko Industries Ltd. in Armstrong, BC is seeking Seasonal Nursery Workers for the Eagle Rock Division to support fall seedling harvest from October to December. The role focuses on planting, growing, and harvesting seedlings as part of reforestation efforts in British Columbia.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to stand for long periods, and prepared for varying weather. Training is provided; no prior experience is required, with shifts typically Monday to Thursday on a 10-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a fast-paced conveyor line to process seedlings.
  • Grade, wrap and package tree seedlings.
  • Assemble boxes for shipment.
  • Wash blocks.
  • Load and unload lift lines.
  • Transport stock to and from the greenhouse.
  • Work in a safe, timely, cost-efficient and professional manner.

OurSeasonal Nursery Workersplay an important role in renewing our forests and keeping our communities and business alive! Theyplant, grow and harvest seedlingsat different time through the year to support reforestation activities. We're looking forSeasonal Nursery Workersto join our Eagle Rock Divisionfor our fall seedling harvest which runsfrom October to mid/end December. Located mid-waybetween Vernon and Armstrong BC, Eagle Rock Nursery grows seedlings as part of their commitment tosustainable reforestationin British Columbia. We are proud to plant, grow and harvest our own seedlings to maintain healthy ecosystems and provide future generations with the opportunity to enjoy BC’s magnificent forests.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Reliable transportationto work.
