Job summary

Tolko Industries is seeking a Woodlands Operations Supervisor for the Southern Interior Woodlands Division. The role can be based in Vernon or Kamloops, with duties spanning field supervision and inter-team coordination in a safe, productive operation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in forestry, BC Interior experience in harvesting/roads, timber development, or First Nations collaboration, plus a forestry degree or diploma and active BC Forest Professionals registration.

We’re looking for an experienced Woodlands Operations Supervisor for our Southern Interior Woodlands Division. The Southern Interior Woodlands Team manages Tolko's tenure and fibre supply in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, covering an area of 953,447 hectares. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas to the benefit of all who live and work there. Successful candidate can be based in either the Vernon or Kamloops area.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• 5+ years related industry experience.
• Experience in one or more of:
  • Harvesting or Roads in the BC Interior or;
  • Timber Development and Permitting in BC or;
  • First Nations Collaboration and Partnership.
  • Planning in BC
• A proven commitment to safety.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to perform fieldwork.
• A University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry.
• An active registrant with the Forest Professionals British Columbia.
