Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a temporary Kettle Campaign Worker in Ontario to support the Christmas Kettle operations. You will supervise volunteers, manage kettles, and ensure secure handling of donations while providing friendly donor engagement.

Responsibilities include scheduling, data entry, and coordinating local site logistics. Prior experience in customer service and office administration is preferred; a valid Ontario G license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience in office administration and using office equipment.
• Strong computer skills including Salesforce, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Attend training and orient volunteers for the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Supervise and coordinate kettle workers and volunteers on shift.
• Ensure secure handling and delivery of kettle donations.
• Record data, prepare time sheets, and manage scheduling.
• Respond to donor questions about SA ministries and programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with kettle sites and teams.
• Travel locally to kettle locations as required.
