Job summary

The Salvation Army in Toronto is seeking a Christmas Kettle Coordinator to oversee multiple kettle locations within a defined zone. You will supervise workers, manage schedules, and ensure secure handling of donations at various mall and retail sites.

The role requires customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts and local travel are common; a valid Ontario G license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion of high school is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience or working in customer service.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Attend training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
• Coordinate kettle locations and staffing across assigned sites.
• Ensure security of donations and accurate timing of shift activities.
• Schedule staff/volunteers; supervise and support campaign workers.
• Maintain timesheets and mileage reports; report issues to supervisor.
• Recruit kettle workers and oversee performance and coverage.
