Job summary

CityKidz is seeking a Gift of Christmas Assistant to support the Resource Development Department during our seasonal Gift of Christmas campaign. The role focuses on greeting donors, coordinating toy drives, and handling administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and a positive donor experience.

The ideal candidate will be organized, friendly, and comfortable working with volunteers, community partners, and staff in a busy nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams of volunteers and donors.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of occasional evenings/weekends.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and hold a valid G class license.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and volunteers; assist in toy drop-offs and store visits.
• Coordinate toy drive activities and support toy pickup at drop-off locations.
• Complete donor and toy intake forms; monitor toy drive schedules and alerts staff to changes.
