Job summary

Save the Children Canada is seeking a Donor Care Coordinator to support the donor experience, manage retention activities, and ensure accurate gift processing and tax receipting. This hybrid role is based in Toronto, Ontario, and focuses on major gifts, corporate, estate, and planned giving portfolios.

Reporting to the Donor Care Manager, you will handle donor communications, ensure timely receipts, and collaborate with the CRM/database team to maintain accurate donor records while complying

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in a donor relations or nonprofit role.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound donor communications across channels.
• Ensure timely donor receipts, welcome packs, and thank-you calls.
• Support donor care across Major Gifts, Corporate, Estate, and Planned Giving.
• Deliver tax receipting and donor acknowledgments per CRA regulations.
• Oversee donor fulfilment and acknowledgments for campaigns.
