Qualifications

• Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, with proper safety techniques.
• Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights and early mornings (if required).
• Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec; other languages an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the store before or after the store closes (5 AM or 10 PM start times).
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, replenish stock, manage returns, shelve products, and process store merchandise.
• Use merchandising standards to create a visually appealing, stimulating store.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers on the floor.
• Engage and connect with customers, curate product collections for each guest.
• Role model Indigo’s High Performance Characteristics and seek information on new products and promotions.
• Contribute to a health and safety culture and respond to customer feedback promptly.
