Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a AI-first digital agency seeking a Search Engine Marketing Manager to own paid media for B2B clients. You’ll craft strategy, budgets and the narrative behind performance, and call the shots on campaigns.

This remote role supports US clients from Canada, South Africa or elsewhere, with direct live calls to explain ROAS and pipeline changes while driving long-term client relationships. You’ll excel at optimizing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
• Proven ROAS/CPA improvements with client stories.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Manage budgets, bidding, targeting and creative testing; know when to kill a campaign.
• Set up and trust conversion tracking with GA4, Tag Manager and platform pixels.
• Develop 90-day and quarterly roadmaps and narrate the numbers on client calls.
• Drive account growth through retention, upsell and long-term relationships.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As Search Engine Marketing Manager you own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the targeting, the budget calls, the roadmap and the narrative when the client asks why. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing, and when to kill a campaign.
• Conversion tracking and attribution you can trust: GA4, tag manager and platform pixels.
• The 90 day and quarterly roadmap for each client, and the story behind the numbers on the call.
• Account growth: retention, upsell and the long-term relationship.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized the campaigns yourself.
• A record of moving ROAS, CPA or pipeline numbers you can walk us through.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
