Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Ontario, Toronto area is hiring a Team Member to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. You will keep the yard orderly and operate forklifts or skid steers as needed to move materials efficiently.

The role requires 1 year in a production/warehouse setting; forklift experience is preferred. We value customer service and safety; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in production, warehouse or landscaping environments.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintain an orderly work location to achieve operational goals.
• Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer per policies.
• Input non-ferrous material codes and weight into the computer system.
• Complete yard tickets and provide tickets to customers.
• Process materials by commodity and remove non-conforming material.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Subject to a criminal background check.
