Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Team Member to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals at our Toronto-area facility. You will help keep yards orderly and support efficient material movement with forklift or skid-steer.

The role requires about 1 year of production/warehouse experience; forklift experience is preferred. We offer benefits including health, vision, dental, life, LTD, pension, an annual boot allowance, company uniforms and overtime, plus a monthly gain

Qualifications

1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspects, grades, sorts and processes ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
Maintains an orderly work location to achieve operational goals.
Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer following policies and procedures.
Uses computer system to input material codes and weights.
Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
Processes materials by commodity and removes non-conforming material.
Provides exceptional customer service.
Subject to a criminal background check.
