Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Brampton, ON is seeking a Team Member - Chop Line to inspect, grade, sort and process non-ferrous scrap metals and to operate forklifts and skid steers for shipping and production. The role emphasizes safety, quality and equipment controls on the Chop Line.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse, distribution or machine operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect non-ferrous scrap metals to ensure quality and productivity.
• Sort and process materials and remove non-conforming materials.
• Monitor and adjust Chop Line Color Sorter PLC parameters for material flow and environmental controls.
• Perform general mechanical adjustments and blade maintenance on line equipment.
• Visually inspect product quality using the Hamos system and report findings to the Shift Supervisor.
• Operate counterbalance forklift and skid steer following safety procedures and company policies.
