Responsibilities

  • Gather client and corporate account information and open accounts, including complex account openings.
  • Process new account documentation and monitor all outstanding documentation.
  • Process incoming client account transfer requests, adhering to regulatory deadlines.
  • Scan and transmit documentation to Head Office.
  • Ensure a high level of client service by maintaining and communicating status of all work in progress to Manager or Project Lead.
  • Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies regarding client account documentation and transfers.
  • Provide additional administrative support to advisor teams within the region.
  • Identify and escalate incidents of concern.

Introduction: As a Transition Specialist your primary focus is to provide centralized administrative support for select Advisor teams. The Transition Specialist will act as liaison between head office and Advisor teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Gather client and corporate account information and open accounts, including complex account openings.
  • Process new account documentation and monitor all outstanding documentation.
  • Process incoming client account transfer requests, adhering to regulatory deadlines.
  • Scan and transmit documentation to Head Office.
  • Ensure a high level of client service by maintaining and communicating status of all work in progress to Manager or Project Lead.
  • Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies by staying current with regulatory rules regarding client account documentation, account transfers, AML and ATF.
  • Provide additional administrative support to advisor teams within the region.
  • Identify and escalate incidents of concern.

Contribute to the effective functioning of the team by:

  • Building effective working relationships across teams, operations and head office contacts.
  • Maintaining a high level of client service and facilitating a culture of open and honest communication.
  • Actively participating and contributing to touch‑bases and team meetings.
  • Encouraging the generation of new ideas and approaches.
  • Actively sharing knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members.
  • Developing and executing a meaningful employee development plan.

Do You Have the Skills?

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous industry experience.
  • Secondary education.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel within the province and country will be required occasionally.
  • Flexible working with evening hours and weekends when required.
