AIM Recycling in Baie-Comeau, part of American Iron & Metal, is seeking an Administrative Clerk – Transportation to support daily operations and customer service at our Baie-Comeau location.

You will assist with transportation planning, data entry in RECY, and documentation while working closely with the Site Manager. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a full-time daytime schedule.

Competenze

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Autonomous and reliable in daily work.
• French and English communication abilities are required.

Mansioni

• Handle daily operations including cash management and report preparation.
• Greet customers, provide pricing information and deliver service by phone or in person.
• Weigh vehicles, enter data into RECY, and prepare scale tickets and delivery slips.
• Coordinate transportation activities, including truck dispatching and shipment tracking.
• Manage tickets, invoices, shipments and coordinate with Accounting.
• Enter and monitor information in internal systems ensuring accuracy.

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Administrative Clerk – Transportation to join our team at our Baie-Comeau location.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play an essential role in the department’s day-to-day operations. You will support the team with administrative tasks, planning, transportation activities and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the opening and closing of daily operations, including cash management and report preparation;
• Welcome customers, provide pricing information and deliver excellent customer service, both in person and by phone;
• Weigh vehicles, enter data into RECY, and prepare scale tickets and delivery slips;
• Coordinate transportation activities, including truck dispatching and shipment tracking;
• Manage operational documentation (tickets, invoices, shipments) and follow up with the Accounting department;
• Enter and track information in internal systems, ensuring data accuracy;
• Follow up on customer accounts and payments, and respond to information requests;
• Perform various administrative tasks and contribute to improving work practices.

Qualifications
